Susan is passionate about painting the underwater world and sharing her discoveries from its mysterious realm to others through her painting. Though an illustrator by training, she has recently been exploring silk painting and watercolor which she believes beautifully capture the qualities of light under the waves. She also loves to create seaweed prints from algaes that wash up on local shores. Susan founded SeaHorse Studios to celebrate her passion for the sea through the visual arts and she donates a portion of every commission to ocean conservation organizations.
