ONE DAY BEGINNING SILK PAINTING SATURDAY, NOV 15, 10am-5pm

ONE DAY BEGINNING SILK PAINTING SUNDAY, NOV 16, 10am-5pm

In this all-day workshop, you will experience the joy of painting with dyes on silk from start to finish. Using your own design or one of mine, each participant will complete an 11 x 14-inch painting mounted on canvas and ready to hang on your wall (ready one week after class). Class is limited to six participants. Bring lunch. No artistic experience needed!

FULL DAY LINO BLOCK CARVING: HOLIDAY CARDS SUNDAY, NOV 23, 10-4 PM

Carve your own rubber block to use to print handmade Holiday cards. In this workshop, Suzy will help you design a 4 x 6 inch composition that you will carve and then print onto cards using a variety of inks. You will take home five printed cards and the option to print many more with your carved stamp. Warning: carving on rubber is addictive, and you may end up printing your own cards from now on! Class is limited to eight participants.

HALF DAY SEAWEED PRESSING SATURDAY, JAN 10, 1-4 pm

HALF DAY SEAWEED PRESSING SUNDAY, JAN 11, 1-4 pm

Discover the beautiful world of kelp and seaweed! In this three-hour workshop, you will learn about local marine plants and have a wide variety of forms to choose from while making a range of beautiful compositions. You will take home a stack of seaweed art mounted on watercolor paper to then finish drying under weights. Class is limited to eight participants.

FULL DAY SILK SCARF PAINTING SUNDAY, JAN 25, 10-4 PM

Discover the joyous world of silk painting and make your own wearable art! In this class, Suzy will take you step by step from designing your scarf to applying the final touch of dye. You will create two 11 x 72-inch scarves that you will be proud to sign and wear or give as a gifts. Scarves will be available for pick up or mailing one week after class. Class is limited to six participants. Bring lunch. No artistic experience needed!
